While the Wild are still searching for a win, the 2026 season has still delivered plenty of highs and exciting moments for the team! Before the Wild take the field for their season finale, here’s a look at some of the players leading the team on the stat sheet.
Have you watched every Wild game this season? While you likely weren't taking attendance, maybe you've noticed that Casstique Williams, Anna McClurkan, Eva Bell, Eleanor Wachtel, Laura Brannan, Ellie Finigan, Liz Bunderson, and Serena Hochmuth have played in every Wild game so far this season! If you've missed a game, don't fret! All past games and exciting ultimate action are available on the WUL's Youtube channel.
With that kind of attendance record it should be no surprise that Williams, McClurkan, Bell, Wachtel, Finigan, Bunderson, and Hochmuth are leading the team in points played, all tallying over a hundred points played this season. Beejee Kratzer also makes the list, having been in six matches with the Wild and playing on 103 points this season.
Captain Abbie Davis leads the team with 11 goals this season, while captain Lily Terpstra and Williams trail closely behind with 10 goals each. Bell leads the team in assists, currently having 17 recorded. Terpstra, Williams, Bunderson, and Hochuth all tie for second in assists with nine each.
Leading the team in blocks is none other than Bunderson, who has put up 12 blocks over the course of the season. Bell comes in second with six.
Bell and Bunderson have both been serious assets for the Wild since the start of the season. Bell is ranked just second in the league in throwing yards, having recorded 2,265 yards thus far. Bunderson's 12 blocks this season put them at fourth in the league, just two blocks shy of tying for first.
What have the Wild been up to outside of matches and practice? Kratzer says the team has kept spirits high with a new, playful tradition: buddy algorithms. One player picks an algorithm and sorts their teammates according to it, putting them into supportive pairs according to a secret rule that other teammates try to guess. Highlights: McClurkan was declared most likely to win on the reality show Survivor, and Jaycee Jones was chosen as most likely to throw a punch in defense of a friend. One algorithm remains as we approach the final game of the season.
