Wild Announce 2026 Coaching Staff

With tryouts for the upcoming season approaching quickly, the Wild are pleased to announce their 2026 coaching staff.
Taylor Williams will be leading the Wild as head coach for the 2026 season. Williams discovered their love for the sport in college and has been involved with the ultimate community in Utah since 2017. Their involvement has included both college and club level play, coaching high school and college women's teams, and serving two years on the Wild board. Williams has a strong passion for coaching ultimate and the Wild's mission of of advancing the visibility, equity, and high-quality competition for diverse women and nonbinary players.
We are also elevating two of our coaching interns from past years to full time coaching staff in 2026. Maile Miller is returning to the Utah Wild for her third season, now stepping into the role of assistant coach. Miller has been apart of the Wild's social media team for the past three years and also served as coaching intern for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Miller's start with ultimate came in 2022 and she immediately became obsessed. Miller has also worked as a sports coach for over seven years and is passionate about the Wild's core values of growing athletics for women and nonbinary players.
Zachary Nebeker will also serve as an assistant coach for the team entering this new season. Born and raised in Utah, Nebeker discovered competitive Ultimate during their senior year of high school and quickly fell in love with the sport. Nebeker has since played, organized, officiated, and coached at various levels ever since. Like Miller, Nebeker has also worked as coaching intern for the Wild during the 2025 and 2024 seasons. Nebeker is passionate about the Wild's mission to promote the growth of ultimate by creating an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone, regardless of identity or background.
Bringing a strong mix of experience, dedication, and commitment to the Wild's mission, Taylor Williams, Maile Miller, and Zachary Nebeker are set to the lead this team through a thrilling 2026 season and shape the next chapter of Wild ultimate.
